Sagar Ratna is a small but great restaurant located in the JLT area of Dubai. It is a small restaurant that could seat only 20 people. However, with a nice water body nearby, one could have the food by the water side if the weather permits.This is our third visit to this amazing place, but the food and service has been exemplary all the time.We ordered few rotis, Ker Kaju Dakh, Haldi ki Subzi, Bajra Rotis and Jodhpuri Gatta Pulao. Every single item was awesome and I would strongly recommend Haldi ki Subzi, which is a seasonal item. During our previous visit, we have had Kher Sanghri, which tasted great too.One Mr Dalpath, who served us during our visit treated us very well, very often stopping by to see if we needed anything more and also to seek feedback. Overall, Sagar Ratna at JLT is a small, but awesome restaurant serving yummy food in a delightful way.

This restaurant offers traditional Rajasthani or Mawari cuisine. We went here for lunch and a special thali. It was an Unlimited Thali for a reasonable price. Good food, very nice chatni’s. I did not like the ambiance though. The AC was not working, there was one fan which was not sufficient. I would suggest ordering in as the food is nice.
We went for the thali, which is always a safe bet. The food cane fast to the table. A person was always at hand attending to us and helping us with extra portions. Overall a good experience.
A true hidden gem in JLT, this restaurant is specialized in Marwari/Rajastani cuisine.With a branch also in Oud Metha that I visited last year, it was great to indulge in some pure veg dishes this time.We started off with Lemon Coriander Soup. A tad bit spiced up with pepper and a strong lemon flavor, it turned out to be the best cold reliever!We followed it with Pani Puri and Mushroom Galawati. Both were quite good and fresh.For mains, Hyderabadi Biryani is the best here and Rashke-E-Bahaar, a mixed veg gravy dish that was so delicious, we needed to also order Tawa Roti to indulge it all.We skipped on the desserts but did have a Lemon Mint Soda to end the meal.Great service and staff, quite clean interiors and would love to enjoy it once again.
