Was at JLT and wanted to try something desi, we were suggested this vegetarian restaurant known for its thali..We tried a plate of pani puri while waiting for the their Punjabi thali. The pani puri was so fresh crunchy and the masala was perfect blend.The Punjabi Thali had lots of varieties like the soya mint masala, Veg. I used to visit this place for breakfast sometime ago and always loved their masala Maggie .. This time tried thier Thali which is Aed 30/- and consisted of 3 curries ,1 daal , rice ,raita,papad , 2 rotis ,1 starter ,1 sweet and some salad . If you have a good appetite or are extremely hungry you can easily finish this one.. Every dish was delicious and prepared to perfection. The ambience and service was also good. They have a nice outdoor seating area too.
I tried the thali at Spicekraft and it was quite good. They provide 1 starter, 3 vegetables, 1 dal, rice, roti/paranthas, raita and 1 dessert in it. The food was alright. I enjoyed the mixed vegetable sabzi, but palak corn was really dry. The rest of the dishes were little above mediocre. The quantity was really good for the price. I do feel they can work on improving the taste little bit to make it even better. They should also include 1 or 2 drinks in it.
The venue is accessible. The ambience is quite relaxing and neat. Food is well presented and the quality really looks good. The staff is very helpful and accommodating. I appreciate it that since it’s my first time to have thali, he explained each dish and how I can enjoy eating it. The taste is good and what I liked about it is that its fresh and healthy. Would recommend it to my friends for them to try.

I tried out their Punjabi Thali, that comes with papad, rice, two curries, curd, daal, a potato dish, rotis, and jalebi.The thali is for AED 25 and is quite filling for one person. Ordered breakfast from this restaurant for the first time. I liked the pooris..how ever The quantity can be more, considering the price they charge. The aloo sbzi has oil all over it which I didn’t like. Plus it had too many kadi patta in it, which spoiled the taste.I tasted the Punjabi thaali and liked it. .Follow Abhishek Kumar for more reviews and pictures
A pure vegetarian delight in the heart of JLT. It does have brilliant food choice and almost all of their dishes are really amazing. A small place decently tucked into a line of restaurants panning over the lake view. It has an outdoor seating too where you can enjoy the beautiful weather and the view. With bright lights and wooden flooring it has a nice touch in the décor perspective!! SpiceKraft Spice Kraft JLT
