Delivery was on time, taste was meh. Tried out: 1. Classic Chicken Frankie: AED 182. Bhuna Chicken Frankie: AED 18The Frankies were more of chicken slices with little gravy wrapped in a Paratha. Between the two, classic chicken tasted better. Overall, not worth it. Each Frankie served one person well. 3. Paneer Tikka Fries: Paneer pieces mixed with sauce and French fries. Fries were ok, Paneer could be better. Quantity was good for two people. AED 9. Zomato’s happy hour discount served us well. For frankies, there are better options in the city.

Frankies and tidbits!Frankies are one of my childhood favorites – a yummy roll with a spicy filling of your choice, they bring back a lot of nostalgic memories! When I heard about Tibbs Frankie in Jumeirah Lake Towers, I just had to make a bee-line and visit them for a Friday dinner with friends. There is limited indoor seating but I could see that there were lots of home deliveries than dine-ins. Here is a review of what we tasted:1. Beverages: Coke float – it was quite refreshing; the Ajmeri thandai was pretty refreshing too and the chocolate milkshake was quite ok.2. Onion pakoda and chai: The pakodas were crunchy and the tea was superb!3. Veg frankies: We tasted the paneer frankie and the cheese ones – both were pretty ok.4. Nonveg frankies: We tasted the buna gosht and the chilli chicken ones – they were pretty nice but the egg omelette inside was too thick. 5. Bombay grilled sandwich: We tasted both, the veg and nonveg ones – they were not really the Bombay grilled types, but were filling and have to be shared.6. Vada pav bites: These are cute little vada pavs with a layer of bread underneath them – they were tasty but the flour coating was a bit thick. The accompanying chutneys were tasty. The staff is polite and obliging. The ambience is satisfactory – the air-conditioning needs to be worked on as it can get unbearably hot in the summer. Free parking is available on Fridays.Price – 3.5/5Presentation 3.5/5Taste – 3.5/5Service – 4/5Value for money – 3/5Ambience – 3/5OVERALL – 3.4/5Subscribe to our YouTube channel – RipplezzGalloreFollow me on Instagram – @carolmathias17Like us on Facebook – @RipplezzGallore

One bite of the Frankie and I was in love. The crisp outer layer combined with the taste of egg and bhuna gosht with decent amount of spice was amazing. Compared to the usual kathi rolls I felt the roti/outer layer was thinnner and crispier which I enjoyed. We also tried the masala pav(4/5 – great option for vegetarians) and the chicken tikka fries(4.5/5). In terms of service and food the place is amazing. Ambience/interiors are average and serves its purpose for a quick Frankie attack. Definitely coming back when im in the area next.
