Its located in Jumeriah lake Towers. We went to have dinner. Tandoori chicken mommos is famous here. Unfortunately, we were informed it will take time to process the order. So, we stick to easily available options. Zomato gold can be used here.
I like the concept of the restaurant and the perfect utilization of the lake in JLT. The outside and inside seating both are good. The service is also ok but the attendants are smiling always.Coming to the food, they started by serving papad and two very small but cute glasses of jal jeera. The bhatti murgh was just awesome. For the main course, I wanted to take the lal Maas but they said its like original type spicy. So I didn’t go ahead and chose patiyala shahi gosht. It was amazing but absolutely creamy and cashew gravy which made it a bit sweet. So all those who don’t like sweetness in main course please refrain. I am sure other items would be good too.
Ambience is okay! Jalzeera shots very cool!I tried fish fry which was soft crispy and really delicious, spicy fish curry with steamed rice and butter nan! Authentic North Indian food! Service is little slow ! Staff is courteous, we were served by Sukamal!! Prices are reasonable portions are good!!
Zomato Gold dragged us to this hidden place in JLT and it was worth trying. You get this dilli ki shawarma only there and it was the same masala flavor as in old Delhi. Nice food and concept and the paid justice with their ambiance and looks too. The restaurant was too smelly with food and smoke which could be because of a bad exhaust. Worth a try ! A nice place in JLT to have north indian food. Their starters are made very well. Would recommend their tandoori momos.Food (3/5) -Ordered the following1. Paneer tikka – This was quite good. Soft paneer with the right amount of marination, grilled in a tandoor. Portion size was a little smaller than expected.2. Tandoori momos – Super good! Very well made. Must have.3. Dal makhani- Unfortunately this let me down. The dal was a little too sweet and not upto the mark.4. Tandoori rotis and butter garlic naan- Rotis were nice and crispy and naan was also good.Service (4/5) – Very polite and courteous however not very attentive despite not being a busy day. Food took a little longer to arrive.Ambience (5/5) – Lovely decor and seating. Takes you back to India!Overall, definitely worth a visit once. Rohit Balan
So this Place was Changed from Egg Dhaba to Via Delhi, The effort was there to make it to a proper restaurant from just a Egg based Menu. I had heard good things from few friends about this place and its starters, but since I had a good breakfast we decided we will just Dig in at main courses. We had ordered-Pindi chole – Had tomato sauce taste and was watery ( EPIC FAIL) -1/5 Chicken changezi – Good gravy dint like the chicken – 3/5Chicken biryani – The Biryani rice was good so was the Masala again dint like the chicken 3/5Garlic nan – 4/5 – good ,crispy and lot of garlicRoomali – 4/5.Service Quality – 5/5 – they did try to make an effort to change the food we dint like but it dint work out.Not trying the Main course soon again from here !
