If you love Sheesha and crave for it at 6am in the morning. This is the place to be! It opens at freaking 6am. Happened to pass by Al Sultanah in the wee hours and Bam! It was open! Ordered some coffee here which was good and Grape mint Sheesha which was smooth. Good service. The staff has quite a colorful uniform. 😛 foodieandthefeast.me
The first time we went there was amazing! Service and sheesha both! The second time we went today and were insulted by the waiter – this waiter who was probably from Pakistan or India came upto us and we ordered for one sheesha (apparently we were 3 people) hence upon this he said he cannot serve us one sheesha for three people as their policy is serving one person one sheesha only or maximum 2 people can share of sheesha! And when we asked him the reason he said because its their efforts involved and its like a wastage for them! Like r u serious? How can yu force your customer to order what u like? If its like tat put it on the doir so we donot come! We also told him that we would leave upon which he said ok leave! Like is this how u treat yur customers? We are paying you for yur services and yu are not serving us anything for free! A cafe where the waiter had an authority to insult and management do not take any actions against them is the worst place to visit for sure! I am very disappointed and would recommend not to visit this place!
Stopped by for a quick Shisha and tea,We ordered a large morocoon mint tea. Good enough for 4 people. The tea was average and came pre mixed with sugar and was little sweet.Ambience is very nice. ample seating and parking spaces.
Shisha is good, perfect place for groups(not a ladies place)Backgammon and playing cards available.Mint tea is a must have! I also tried the watermelon juice, not bad, but too much added sugar.
Since college days I have been regular to Sultanah Cafe especially whenever I wanted to have their shamaam sheesha ( watermelon sheesha ) . Ambience wise this place is good and the staff at this place are decent too . Watermelon sheesha is really good and it last for not less than 2 hours which is pretty decent . This place is always crowded whether it is a weekend or even a weekday .
The place looks very inviting compared to the ones around and has a good ambience too.The drinks are great. We had the sahlep which had a generous amount of pistachios in it and the karkadi which tasted good and looked tempting too. They do not compromise on the quantity at all.Shisha isn’t great. The coal keeps hurting every 10 minutes and it’s hard to call the waiter too. If at all you do manage to tell someone, he sends the guy after a long time. The service is pathetic. It takes ages to call a waiter. For some reason they speak Arabic despite the fact that the know the customer cannot communicate in that language. Their attitude also isn’t something that would make me want to go there again. famishedexplorer.com
Shisha cannot get better in Dubai when you try it out here. I’m a regular customer of theirs and the hospitality by Ramadan bhai is the best. I’m sure other regular visitors will agree. The shisha/Karak combo is a perfect way to unwind the day & remains consistent (at least for the last 5 years).
