Newly opened Best South Indian Vegetarian Restaurant located in Burjuman center Ground floor. We tried their Rava Masala Dosa, Aloo tikki Chat and Water melon Juice, which served fresh and it was absolutely amazing in taste, quantity and quality.Negative point: is pricing is lil high comparing to other Restaurants located in that area.
It’s a newly opened restaurant, located on the ground floor of Burjuman. It’s a spacious restaurant, with seating available near the windows, which gives you a perfect view of the busy streets of Bur Dubai. So, we ordered their south Indian thali for lunch. The food is delicious, however, we did feel they’re a bit overpriced for a vegetarian restaurant.
This is a slightly up market version of a south indian restaurant. I am very happy that I am finding a representative restaurant from south India ,inside a mall, not in a food court, but as a stand alone one.I found the prices are very agreeable, of course we shouldn’t compare with other street corner cafes.Service is with a smile, some refinements are definitely required, that’s to be expected.●My orders were-1. • Butter masala thosai. 20 dhs. Quite tasty masala inside. But I also liked that they spread the masala quite evenly around the batter. 3 spices of coconut were good enough for me. 4/5.2. •Gobi manchurian. 24 dhs. Dry variety. Spices are good and well fried. Liked it. 4/5.Overall, I didn’t have great expectations and I was happy with the service and good quantity and quality of the food. Ambience was very nice for a south indian restaurant. Will visit again.
Tried this vegetarian South Indian place in Burjuman which has opened recently. I think they can do much better than what I experienced! Overpriced, quantity is too less for the price, the taste is just average, the chutneys and sambar are too mediocre considering it’s the main essence of a South Indian meal ! Service took longer than normal considering there were very few people seated. It seems like a more fine dine version of proper South Indian joint! But if you really wanna go in for the experience and great taste which Is equally easy on your wallet, then this would not be an option! Please improve on the taste and portion size to provide your customers some value!
I believe idli and filter coffee are the benchmarks for any place claiming to be a South Indian veg joint. The place has passed the test to warrant some repeat visits. Won’t say its wow, but not bad either. The chutneys and sambar are spiced down; still provide a decent taste. Coffee hit the mark nicely. The place is clean and staff are friendly. The location is great as well.
