Had been to this place for lunch. This place is cosy, cute and surely a hidden gem.Now coming to our order:Arancini Balls – 4/5Polenta Steak – 4/5Brown Butter Mushroom Risotto – 5/5All these dishes were beautifully prepared, full of flavour and nicely presented. So a big thumbs up for this place!!Cheers!!
When its time to dine out, I’m the one who turns a decision maker. Well this time I chose Moreish because I’ve seen my fellow blogger rave about it. Located at Oud Metha, this little cozy joint creates homely vibe once entered. The dark blue painted walls adds up to the gram-worthy pictures.Ok coming to the food part, we started off with the drinks. Death by chocolate & Salted Caramel frappe is what we relished. It was rich & luscious.Appetizers- Arancini balls. This was the star of the night. Irresistibly delicious & cheesy Sicilian rice balls just vanished into thin air, as soon as it’s been served. The Arborio rice balls with molten cheddar center, submerged over the tangy tomato dip and coated with generous amount of Parmesan sauce. I highly recommend this dish to be ordered.Kids got to order “The Portobello belly” gourmet burger. Which was lip smacking good. With the crumb fries portobello mushroom patty. And the best part is you can make your own pasta .,that is totally customizable. Choose your favorite pasta, sauce, cheese , toppings etc & enjoy!Another show stopper of the night was “Polento steak”. Tried it for the very first time & literally fell in love at first bite.Ordered another appetizer as the owner suggested. Grilled peach & pesto bruschetta. It’s an eye candy dish. But didn’t please my tastebuds to that level. As I found it bit on a sweeter side. But if you are a die hard fan of pesto sauce , you might like it.Yes they have very limited seating area indoor & out door as well. But it’s worth waiting for your turn.Overall we had a great experience trying these Italian, Mexican , Mediterranean dishes .
MOREISH: It’s a hidden gem in and around Oud Metha for Italian , Mexican and continental vegetarian dishes. A cute little food joint having limited indoor seating with lovely ambience and interior decoration. We ordered –Appetisers:Grilled peach and Pesto bruschetta which was tasty with whole meal bruschetta with fresh basil pesto, feta, grilled peaches and walnuts.Arancini balls : These rice stuffed balls with cheddar cheese had lips smacking taste with tangy tomato dip and Parmesan sauce. Mains:Polenta Steak: This was hit of the day. Grilled corn meal with vegetable ratatouille and pesto cream sauce had full of mouth watering flavours. It’s was too yummy and one of the must try delicacy. Gourmet Burger:Portobello mushroom burger: Burger with perfectly grilled broccoli patty with layer of cheese and some jalapeños. It was Kids’ favourite and they enjoyed their day along with crispy fries.Pasta:Penne Olive tapanade: The customised pasta. We chose penne pasta which was awesome with olive tapanade sauce. Also we had option of choosing two toppings out of zucchini, olives, sun dried tomatoes, mushrooms and broccoli.Frappes:Death by chocolate and Salted caramel. Both were awesome with bursting flavour. As I observed, it’s a family run restaurant with the owner herself is taking care of the customers’ orders, which shows her huge passion for food. I loved the way they presented each of the dishes which in turn shows how they prepare food with so much care and involvement.A must visit place and I would definitely recommend to others. I’ll definitely visit again to try their other delicacies.
