I found out about this restaurant while driving around in Oud Metha and decided to give it a try. Their menu has wide variety of foods and drinks option. Food options include options which take you back to your favourite mumbai street food with Naan Chaap (available in chicken, mutton and veg), kheema pav, baida roti and if you want to enjoy something local then their shawarma’s are something I can vouch for. I have tried every shawarma they have to offer ( their shawarma’s never disappoint me). They also serve mumbai chaats, sanwiches and burgers, and chinese options. This is one place I constantly recomend my friends to go and try.Food – 4/5Ambience – 3/5 (because there is no indoor seating and outdoor seating can get difficult during summers)Staff – 5/5Service – 5/5

If it’s your first time eating here, then you need to aim for the Naan Chaap and Baida Roti both available with Chicken/Mutton stuffing. Hallmarks of South Mumbai’s Tawa street food, that these guys execute, possibly better than the original (not greasy, just the right amount of spice and perfect texture) and serve with the requisite accompaniments: lime wedges, sliced onion and an exact mint chutney.Wash it down with their very homely chai or a cola (typically my go to drink with Tawa items). The outdoor seating would be fun in the winter but I guess takeaways are better now – do call your order in to avoid waiting in the heat.My next tries? Possibly the mutton samosas, tawa bheja fry and the baked goods (toast, pav and khari biscuits).

‘Mumbai Meri Jaan’ in Oud Metha (behind the Ismaili Center) serves up some of Mumbai’s favourite street foods. ‘Naan Chaap’ is basically boneless mutton (or chicken) that is tenderized and is sautéed with spices and then stuffed into a buttery crisp naan type pav (Indian burger bun). It tastes amazing with the accompanying mint chutney….The restaurant has baida roti, tava pulao and keema pav which are also quite good. It’s got outdoor seating only so the summer months will be challenge. Otherwise this is a no fuss good food kinda place.

If you are craving for the street food back in the Khaugali at Bombay, then Pumpy’s is the place to be.FoodThey have really awesome nanchaaps, mutton, chicken rolls, baida roti , kheema pav, bun maska and so much more. I’ve tried almost every dish over there and have never been disappointed. The mutton and chicken pulao is awesome. The Chinese Chilly gravy and rice is also good. The toasted Shawarma and other bakery items are also great. The bheja fry and kheema pav is something you should definitely try!Chicken And Mutton Pulav are super yum.AmbienceOutside seating is good for winters but can very uncomfortable during summer.Service – Quick. The staff is very friendly and sometimes give you complimentary servings of their new menu items . foodieandthefeast.me

These guys are funny, they don’t anything that you want to eat from their menu. I went there with my friend for some snacks and tea. The waiter came and we chose 2 items from the menu. He came back saying no to what we had selected. After that, we have asked for at least 4 items from the same menu and every time he had the same answer. I hope they have improved and now serving everything they have mentioned in the menu.
