Cant believe this restaurant is in Dubai. Closes at 10 30 pm though Zomato shows 11 pm. At 10 15 when we sit the staff rudely informs that only buffet available that too pick up all u want in next 15 minutes. No a la carte! Promptly at 10 20 the name cards of dishes picked up and at 10 30 exactly all dishes were inside. And all this for thos restaurant which is inside a Hotel!. No wonder most of the dishes were untouched.
Ordered: Appetizers : Fajita and chicken burger Cuisine : Intl Ambience/ Arrangements : Common and reasonable. Pricing : worthy Quality / Quantity. : healthy Service : slow Presentation : better Speciality/ Must try : burgers Over all rating : bronze medal
Used a Groupon coupon for lUNCH buffet which was advertised as buffet of value AED 139 for 2 persons. COME ON – this buffet is not worth AED 30 per head. Ambience is nothing to write about – Restaurants use Groupon to advertise as if they are giving a high 50% discount to fill their tables so that the buffet food can be cleared. There was even white rice with not one dish having any gravy. WILL NOT RECOMMEND TO ANYONE – DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY
We went to this restaurant with a voucher and I’m glad we went with one. If we had actually paid full price, I really would have not felt good at all. The buffet is just a mish-mash of stuff under the label ‘international’. The soup was not great. Of the lot I liked the beef steak and the sweet and sour fish. The biryani was too oily and lacked any great flavour. Pasta was just so so.Dessert the Umm Ali and the opera cake stood out.Vegetarian friends had barely any option. Chapatti and Dal were good they said, but then you don’t go to a buffet to have that!!! The veg samosa was good and needs mention. The staff are sweet.Place is clean and well kept.
We had lunch here as part of a training program, the food was average nothing impressive. The only dish I liked that stood out for me was the broccoli pasta. I haven’t tried any beverages. I only had water. My coworker seem to like Umm Ali that was a bit soggy and lacked roasted almonds and pine seeds.
Tried this place on a friends suggestion. It was buffet that we had in the afternoon. Found it alright had various dishes and the ever known umm ali to end it with. Overall verdict: average food experience nothing exceptional soniphoenix.wordpress.com
Why this is a not so exceptional restaurant?I had dinner with friends twice here and unfortunately, my very first experience was a bit of a let down. There were flies that time and we have to contend with it. It is not being visited by hotel guests nor outside guests as well. Food is just any other food served in a restaurant. Although I cannot complain as I am using a voucher. My second experience was far better. It was a grill night and we had some nice grilled kebabs. Unfortunately, serving of the grill choices are not much and we just have to contend ourselves with the rest of the menu served in the buffet table.
