We called before going and specifically asked if there was a couple or mixed group policy and we were told it was alright to walk in. We were 2 guys and 1 girl. At the door, they said they’d let us in only if we were couples or had a table reservation. If they had such a door policy, they should at least inform people properly instead of making them go through all the effort and then be turned down onsite. What a pretentious place!!! Never going back.
I love Sky Bar Beirut, and I came expecting the same vibe from Sky 2.0, however it did not deliver. To be fair its packed and happening, but it’s just missing something. The music on Thursday is very nice and keeps the crowd on their feet. Unfortunately, that’s the best night, though I would have expected to have Friday as the main signature night. Instead Friday is boom box night, the music is not at all to my liking thus my lower rating. Food and staff are ok.

The door manager who is rude and racist should be kick out from this place who happened to be 14 years (that is what he told us) in dubai yet never learned about customer service and he goes by the name Ibrahim. You have work before from The ACT which by the way have permanently closed. I hope Malik or Assad will kick you out soon.
The design of the place is amazing and we can feel it even from the outside. Great music and ambiance. Unfortunately we had to leave earlier than expected since it started to rain.
