A good place to enjoy good food and the amazing weather. They have a bar on the first floor and excellent family seating on the ground floor. With views of the creek, a wonderful place for family gatherings. The food was good but not the best. Some were a hit and some a miss. But overall a good experience.
My first visit here after hearing quite a bit about their veg food and shisha. We started off with Pani Puri and Tandoori Aloo Tikka. While the pani puri was quite the basic, the aloo tikka was surely every potato lovers dream with it being spicy! For mains, we chose to have Chicken Kadai with Hyderabadi Biryani and Butter Naan.Overall, KP has got some delicious food. Choose your dishes according to your taste – i.e. spice. Lovely staff who suggested according to that!
Trying out this place for the first time. Amazing al fresco dining overlooking the Dubai Creek. My personal favorite chaat platter, tandoori momos, bang bang cauliflower and chow chow mushroom. Perfect place for vegetarian people.
Inaugurated in Al Seef, this vibrant and colourful eatery uplifts your mood with their elegant ambiance and amazing music. Offering both outside seating and seating upstairs, this spacious and well – lit restaurant is magnificent, and certainly serves as an eye candy. They have a wide variety of items to offer, from pizzas, to Indo Chinese, to even Sindhi food. I was invited here for a tasting session by Karma DXB. The servers there were polite and courteous hosts. For the food and drinks, we tried out the following:Pomegranate juice: freshly squeezed, very refreshing and sweet.Passion cooler: pleasing, sweet and absolutely lovely.Chaat platter: if you can’t choose which chaat to devour, order this platter, as it offers you a little bit of everything. All the chaats were a perfect blend of sweet, spicy and tangy. The bhel puri was extremely delicious to munch on. Pani puri was excellent, as the spheres of the puri were crispy, and the pani was yummy. Sev puri was brilliant, the papdi was crispy and delectable, and the dahi puri was fabulous. Topped with some creamy yogurt, we loved it till the last spoon. This chaat platter is definitely a must have!Subzi kebab platter: a mix of different kinds of vegetarian starters, this was a tasty platter. The vegetarian kebabs were delicious, soft and well – made. Potatoes with green marination were outstanding. Buttons of mushroom were soft and mildly spicy. The malai paneer tikka was tender and flavourful.Mumbai special pav bhaji: two, soft, buttered buns, served with an appetizing bhaji. The bhaji was cooked to perfection, and made with sufficient spices and essential condiments. This was mildly spicy and full of flavours. Surely a must try!Amritsari kofta curry: the gravy was just right in consistency, and was flavourful and mildly spicy. Cooked well with reasonable spices and necessary ingredients, this was very delicious. The soft spheres of paneer and potatoes were well made with the gravy.Butter naan and garlic naan: the breads were served warm, and were soft and freshly prepared.Rasmalai: soft and delightful, featuring a smooth texture, the rasmalai was fairly sweet, and offered rich flavours of saffron to the appetite.Angoori rasmalai: soft spheres of adorable rasgulla, resting below a bed of lush rabdi, this dessert was fairly sweet and pleasing.Thank you Kailash Parbat team for having us. Will definitely come back soon to try other items on the menu.
Kailash Parbat is one of the nice places for vegetarians. Located at Al Seef with a beautiful view of the Creek and a play area for kids right outside the restaurant makes this place ideal for families. We started the meal with an Orange juice and a Pineapple juice. Both of these were freshly squeezed and absolutely refreshing. We then had the Chaat platter, a mix of Sev puri, Pani Puri, Papdi chaat and Dahi puri served on the platter. This is an absolute treat for chaat lovers. Everything tasted so good, the flavors were just perfect. From the starters we called for the Tandoori Momos, the Bang Bang Cauliflower and the Chow Chow Paneer. All of the started were cooked to perfection. The Tandoori momos were very different, I haven’t had something like this before. Really enjoyed this one. The Bang Bang cauliflower is basically tempura with dynamite sauce on it. This one is a great starter too however my favorite from the starters was the Chow Chow Paneer. Made in an Indo Chinese style with sautéed onions and chillies this one is a sure not to miss. For the mains we were recommended the Paneer Lababdar and we surely were happy with the recommendation. It was a thick red gravy with chunks of paneer and went really well with the breads. We also called for a Noodle pot, this one has noodles with veggies and sauce on it, again an Indo chinese dish. We ended the meal with the Jalebi Rabdi, a match made in heaven. Hot Jalebi with rabdi, these folks sure did a good job. The only reason I have rated this place a 4 is because of the service; the service is extremely slow. The food is amazing, the place is lovely and a perfect place to also take your kids.
The restaurant was ok . Very crowded on Fridays and a little disorganized. Nevertheless , the food was good and service was considerably quick. The food had a good taste and it was spicy too(they can make it less spicy if you wish). A good Indian restaurant in Al Seef.
This was long pending visit to the famous name from Mumbai!!Visited this place over long weekend in Dubai. Place was crowded filled with action. Took sometime to get table for us.We ordered for following-1. Pani puri family pack- they ran out of radga that day. and shocked to see so much oil on the puri. though they were crispy. but, oil in it was big let down. 2. Margarita pizza- well grilled. but, it had tomato slices under cheese. we always have eaten margarita as plain pizza (without any veggies inside).3. Paneer tikka pizza- well grilled with generous serving of veggies and paneer.4. Chole bhature- drenched in oil and could have been made better.5. Sizzling brownie- good soft brownie with ice cream.6. Jalebi with rabri- Jalebi were cooked in oil and very thick. surely, needs drastic improvement.Overall place needs to pull up to serve better!!
