I worked for 2 years in the building where cafe ole is situated and visited it occasionally. Since I work somewhere else now, I visit it time and again because of the good food. They serve a really decent fatija which is my personal favourite.
Café Olé is a small, cosy café on the first floor of the Oud Metha Tower, that’s the smaller of the two buildings immediately opposite Raffles, the bigger being home to Citi Bank. It’s only recently been listed on Zomato simply because of its locational obscurity, otherwise this little eatery has been around for well over a decade now. I’m pretty sure Café Olé caters almost exclusively to the personnel and staff of the Oud Metha Tower. It serves a range of international and regional favourites, changing these periodically. The food is good, prices are reasonable and service can at times be almost friendly. So if you’re stuck in the building and don’t feel like walking across the road to Raffles, Wafi or the Healthcare City outlets then this little place makes a lot of sense – Olé!Waste NOT, Want NOT.
