This place tosses up some tasty food. Been here twice and I’ve enjoyed the food, ambience and service. Their starters are great and they have a lot of good variety in Indian, Chinese and Goan cuisines! The staff is helpful and suggests items as per your liking & taste!They usually have a live singer on weekends who is really good & they are on Zomato Gold so it’s a win win 🙂

This has to be one of my favorite places in Dubai. They serve both Indian and Chinese food. I loved their lollipop chicken (from their Chinese section), king prawns and biryani. They also have a unique selection of drinks, I loved their signature drink called kata kat on the road, in which six drinks are served in the form of shots on a trolley which is a very unique serving style. thesizzlingarchive.wordpress.com
Located behind the new majaz lulu hypermarket, restaurant offers indian , chineese and goan style cusines. We tried the dragon bhel, soya vindaloo and with chicken biriyani . The dragon bhel was awsome with slight tinge of goan vinnegar with raw mango slices and tomatoes and was extremely flavorful. The soya vindalo tasted good but felt both the aloo and soya was slightly undercooked.The tandoori roti was soft and tasty. The biriyani seemed tasty too.overall it was very good .
Today’s review is on one of my favorite restaurant in Dubai called @grubshack. This hidden gem takes you through a flavourful journey from Bombay to Goa. Each dish was sooo good that it had my heart. They have a great interiors with some live music!Rangeela Kart (5/5) – It has 6 different flavours of shots like Mango n Chilli, Watermelon, Blue Lagoon, Strawberry, Passion Fruit and Lemon n Mint. All of them were quite refreshing and tasty. Jalapeno Pani Puri (5/5) – The combination seemed soo unique that I had to try it out. I highly recommend to order it, it’s something different which had a taste of spice and tanginess mixed along every sip of the drink.The Dragon Bhel (5/5) – It was a cold version of dragon chopsuey tossed with sauces and topped with dry mango and spring onion. It was quite spicy and great chaat option.Jalapeno Cheese Burst (4.7/5) – It was 4 pieces of potato with cheese and chilli filling, it’s a great starter which is quite tasty.Cheesy Wheezy Chicken (5/5) – Omgg this was true love, I highly recommend to try this! The chicken was soo soft, well cooked and marinated. It had cheese loaded inside it and was served with green chutney.Burnt Garlic n Chilli Noodles (4.8/5) – It was noodles fried in a wok with burnt garlic, veggies and sauces. It was quite flavourful.GS Special Biryani and Butter Chicken (5/5) – Grub Shack is famous for its Biryani and Butter Chicken and I highly recommend to try it. The biryani was soo good its basmati rice with juicy chicken simmered in yogurt, herbs and spices. The butter chicken was soooo delicious, the gravy was soo thick n creamy, the chicken was soft and well marinated.Chocolate Lava Cake (4.2/5) – It was Lava cake served with 4 pieces of kulfi, the combination was quite delicious.Overall a perfect place to go with friends and family! I would like to thank @grubshack for inviting me and for such a wonderful service. Love the feel of this restaurant with its industrial interiors! The menu is extensive and the service is on point!Favs: The Firecracker Shrimp was my favorite among the starters followed by the noodle chaat. Also loved the presentation of all the drinks – the Mango Lassi was truly a thirst quencher, the Nutella Smoothie was so satisfying and the Chai was perfection! Among the mains, Butter Chicken and Chicken Biryani were my favs.Not my favs but could be yours: We thought we would give Goan cuisine a try and ordered their best selling chicken dishes i.e. The Chicken Xacuti and Chicken Cafereal but it didn’t quite satisfy our taste buds (probably because we haven’t developed a taste for these type of dishes yet).
Very good and cosy place.They even got me birthday cake and celebrated it so well.Lancy from the the team was so good at suggesting the must try from the menu.Over all good experience with amazing live music.
