Great Arabic restaurant serving some home cooked specialties which you do not usually find in other Lebanese restaurants. There is a live band playing Arabic music in the evenings. It is recommended to get there early as some popular dishes like Shish Barak sell out quickly. Shisha is available. Check out the unique feature of sitting under an open roof even in the midst of summer.
We really like this place for its open air settings and great service which are accompanied by great sheesha. Its Turkish style place and one can actually feel the vibes of Turkey with the live music, sheesha, and opera air seating.
A traditional middle eastern dishes with a spacious family friendly marbled courtyard and mouth watering food. 1. Fast & Efficient service: 5/5 (the food was prepared on time, and the waiters were friendly and welcoming)2. Quality of food: 5/5 ( we ordered hummus, mtabal, mixed grill, taboleh, fatoush, battata harra , Kebbeh and vine leaves) everything was very delicious and mouth watering. 3. Cleanliness/space: 5/5 (the place is spacious and spotless, family friendly and they have both smoking and non smoking area) 4. Price: 3/5 ( the price is similar to other outlets serving same type of food, they accept essad card which is a bonus) 1. خدمة سريعة وفعالة: 5/5(تم إعداد الطعام في الوقت المحدد ، وكان الموظفين ودودين و مرحبين) 2. جودة الطعام: 5/5 (طلبنا حمص، متبل ، مشاوي مسكلة، بطاطاًحرة ، كبة مقلية ، ورق عنب) الأكل بشكل عام كان لذيذ. 3. النظافة / المساحة: 5/5 (المكان نظيف ولديهم منطقة مخصصة للتدخين وغير المدخنين) 4. السعر: 3/5 (يشبه السعر بالمطاعم الأخرى التي تقدم نفس النوع من الطعام ، ويقبلون بطاقة essad وهي ميزة)
Went here for the second time for a business dinner – it’s a nice place, located inside a mall but with an open space, modeled after a traditional arabic courtyard, where the tables are placed. Friendly service and good food – don’t expect culinary highlights, but it’s good, solid arabic food.
We went there for Iftar yesterday and were very dissapointed with the quality of the food served. None of us really touched the main, we all ordered fish with vegetables. The fish was very oily, probably just defrosted and thrown into the pan. We however survived on the small selection of appetisers, nothing great there either. The price of 125/- was definately not justified. The service was quick and the sisha was nice, these being probably the only good thinks in the whole experience.
Their food is splendid. The ambience is super good, it’s an open air cozy restaurant. They have so much variety of food, you’ll have to visit several times to be able to try it all. They have so many Middle Eastern cuisines. Their desserts are freshly made and delicious. The sheesha is very smooth. The staff is friendly and quick and service is quite good as well. Definitely a must try.
Disappointing! We ordered a few dishes – mutabbal, hummus, Tagine chicken with Olives (recommended by the staff) and some Prawn dish (forgot the name). Mutabbal and hummus were excessively sour, never had such a sour mutabbal and hummus before. Tagine chicken was mediocre & it disappointed us more since it was recommended by the staff. Prawns were okay though with nice garlic flavor. Such a pity because the place came highly recommended! The ambiance is nice though, even outdoor sitting is air conditioned, that’s quite comforting for Dubai weather.
