Average Asian FoodFor starters we ordered Prawn Tempora, Cantonese Duck Spring Roles, and Pandan Chiken. The prawn plate was well presented and tasty. The spring roles were too oily and the quantity and quality of duck stuffed in the roles were low. The Pandan chicken was tasty. For the main courses, the Yaki Udon is a good choice if you like thick noodles. The fried beef and vegetable rice were average. The sauce in the beef was thick and too strong. For both plate the quantity of beef and prawn were too little

It’s heartbreaking giving a restaurant with so much potential a 2.5 out of 5 solely based on one factor which either makes or breaks a place. As we were shopping around in Wafi Mall we chose to dine in Noddle Factory based on a random choice. Though the ambiance of the restaurant gives away an impression that the food orders will be taken at the table but it’s sadly not the case. We have to order the food at a designated counter. It’s no big deal though; just an observation.Going through the menu I ordered a dish which I have never eaten before & always looked forward to eat – Nasi Goreng. Nasi Goreng is a Malaysian cuisine stir fried rice which comes with small servings of crackers, satay, chicken wings or another protein source. Every region or Malay restaurant have their own variations though. For a side dish I ordered a sweet & sour eggplant. My friend on the other hand ordered a chicken dim sum as an appetizer & Pad Thai for the main course.Talking with the friendly smiling waiter on the counter we were told Noodle Factory is a restaurant catering Asian cuisines ranging from Indonesian, Thai, and Japanese to Chinese. Pretty interesting mix.I started off with the chicken dim sum – Taste wise nothing ordinary; felt like a food court mass prepared item. Next I tried the sweet & sour eggplant. I loved this dish as it was cooked fresh & tasted delightfully good. I was looking forward to eat my first Nasi Goreng as the dish looked scrumptious. Eating it told another tale – The whole dish was awfully cold & the mini sides which came in the Nasi Goreng felt like it was cooked in the morning. My friends Pad Thai was cold as well. Cold food is unacceptable in my books unless it’s a cold cut of meat, cheese or sandwich. Cold when it comes to Asian cuisine is not tolerable. instagram.com

Had the best Kung Pao chicken here. The chicken pieces were nicely marinated, tender and succulent to eat. The spiciness was just enough. Great for people who like their food spicy but can’t stand the intolerable heat. Big thumbs up on this one.

The best yuki udon noodle I had in Dubai. Excellent selections and plates full of flavour. I appreciated the taste of the fresh prawn and long yummy noodles. Excellency service and happy friendly staff.

Its a good place for being in a food court and extra points for real plates and cutlery. The food was ok. We ordered a noodle dish with a bit too much chili. Prawn dim sums were good.
