D&A organizes fun pub quizzes, which are a refreshing change from common restaurant set-ups. The restaurant menu did not have many options for vegetarians, but we were able to order from the hotel room service menu – which was definitely much better. We enjoyed the ravioli, gnocchi, pizza, drinks, and the sticky date pudding.
Quite a chic place with some good menu options. Good beverages on tap. I tried the fish and chips and they seem to know their cod from their haddock. Very nice outdoor seating area for when the weather permits. Will probably go back.

We’ve been visiting the D&A since Jumeirah Beach Hotel opened way back when. Even though it’s located in a 6 star hotel, it’s always had a local charm to it, and so has enjoyed a loyal following.It had a revamp a few years back and looks fantastic, however the prices have gone up massively since it reopened. The menu isn’t particularly varied or special, but the quality of food is very good.The service is good – friendly and efficient, and the setting is great, offering both indoor and outdoor.Overall, I love the fact that the menu still centres around traditional pub food, but unfortunately it’s now lost the pub prices and pub atmosphere, which was the D&A’s USP for so many years.
Beautiful ambiance specially a beautifully view of Burj al Arab, amazing drinks and also the offers and ongoing promotions, can have karaoke setup too cud be more fun. And over all the staff of Dhow & Anchor were jolly and fun loving !!!!☺️
#greatroast This is a beautiful bar with a nice outdoor area. The good thing about this place that it is non-smoking inside. The atmosphere is great, with the sound of clinking glasses, friendly chit-chat and laughter. The staff are always smiling and engaging with the guests. We had the Roast Beef & the Cod Fillet, trust me you will not be hungry after, it was bursting with flavor and well presented. Guinness rating 7/10 #roast #mrhospitality
Visited Dhow and Anchor over the weekend. It is such a lovely restaurant with an amazing outdoor seating area which was very busy as it is clearly a popular place. The customer service was great but the service was slow, they need more staff when it gets busy. Absolutely loved the food everything we ordered was so tasty and served hot. The only negative thing we would say about the food is that the chicken curry hardly had any curry in it, so we had lots of things to dip into the curry but hardly any curry, would have liked more curry. Other than that everything was great, loved the vibe there and we will be going back again for sure. And the sunset views are amazing. deserttwins.blogspot.com
