Good for on the go food or drinks when staying at the hotel. Also, a decent place for a short casual meeting. Nothing great or bad about the place, a regular novotel offering.
Last week we were at Novotel for staycation and came down to this cafe in the lobby for snacks . What I loved the most is they have small play area for kids and my daughters were busy playing . They have a kids menu too .We ordered burger and chicken tikka sandwich, both were great . For our daughters bday they did surprise us with a chocolate berry mousse cake from this cafe and it tasted really good .The cafe is walking distance from the world trade centre and its ideal for visitors to stop by . Also after 5 Pm they have a discounted price for the bakery items . Loved the service and food here . shabosphere.wordpress.com
The place is less than 5 mins walk from DWTC halls. The cafe was huge, staff were nice and polite. The service was fast too. The food serving was big and can be shared.
Had room service while stayed here. Enjoyed the food and service. Will be again next year. Great options to choose from throughout the whole day 24hrs!!
Not a place I’ll go to again unless I really have to. Pasta portions are tiny for the price you pay. We were disturbed by a large group of old East European tourists waiting for their bus. The cafe thought it’s perfectly fine for very loud non paying customers to sit around paying customers. Not a relaxing atmosphere.
What I went for: quick fri lunch, started out solo but thankfully had surprise, good company join in mid way!Ambience: on the ground floor of Novotel, it has indoor seating for 40 and outdoor seating for another 60.. high ceiling, glass walls allowing you to watch the trade center foot traffic. Display of pastries to tempt you. Service is friendly and familiar, the servers know me well as I am a frequent visitor! What I ordered: Beef and Roasted Pumpkin Salad for me and a chicken shawarma for my companion. And tomato juice for both of us!!Price : Aed 100 after a 20% discountVerdict: I can’t eulogize about the salad! But it was alright, met my lunch needs while ticking the healthy choice box! The portion size was just nice but they could add more of the meat.My lunch partner was not pleased with the shawarma, the chicken was too bland! But he did say that he likes most other things usually, especially the Fish and Chips is apparently top notch and highly recommended.Tomato juice- very uninspiring, especially after we realized that it’s straight out from a lacnor bottle! To be fair, It’s a good place for a quick coffee, a cookie and a cig and sometimes for a sandwich/salad lunch minus great expectations!Would I return again? For the friendly, familiar service, coffee with the crunchy cookie on the side- yes, and occasionally – I do mean very occasionally, solitary salad lunches too!
We had a conference there and we had a morning breakfast and brunch the best was fish balls fried and blue berry cheese cake anyway good and clean food
