A lovely place with a great set menu for lunch. Presentation of all items is weel thought of and has a unique touch. Loved all the items within the menu. Only feedback would be for the Lassi which seemed a bit too plain. But that maybe die to an expectation of a unique taste in everything.. So in conclusion. Do try the lunch set menu here. Quantity is good so go with an appetite. Both veg and non-veg are great.
Visited Tresind for a special family occasion recently. We received a very warm welcome and the ambience was simple and elegant. We decided to go with the tasting menu for dinner which included[Non-Veg/Veg]Amuse Bouche (4 types of bite-sized vegetarian servings)Chaat TrolleyChicken/Paneer & Shiso Leaf KhurchanTandoori Lamb Chops with rosemary reduction and ghee roast potatoes/Papad crusted matar tikkiPrawn Benedict/Avacado Kebab with a English Muffin and hollandaise/Smoked Avacado MashLemon SorbetBengali Kosha Mangsho/Pumpkin SalanChicken Curry/Dal VadiPuris/Rice/RotisInspiration Kulfi FaloodaBlack Forest 2.0I have absolutely nothing to complain about. The food was excellent and serves one person sufficiently. Every dish was made with utmost perfection giving attention to intricate details and was beautifully plated. They were very hospitable which has to be appreciated. It was definitely a treat to the eyes and the tastebuds.
We went for the non veg set menu – which is an appetizer of bite sized Pani puri, starter of chicken shawarma, lamb kebab and prawn pakora, main of lamb curry, black dal and butter chicken and two desserts. Food is more than enough, we were both very full when we left. The prawn pakora were delicious, and in the mains my favorite was the dal.In general my comment would be for all the food that there was too much spice added. Not spicy hot but instead the amount added for all the spices should have been halved because it was just too much. The desserts were different, but were just ok, not sweet enough which was needed after all the spices.Best part was the pain flavoured candy floss and the sorbet palate cleanser. It’s a good experience but there wasn’t a single dish that I would say I would want to eat again.
Experience a mind blowing modernist indian cuisine at Tresind, Dubai. One of the most beautifully and creatively done places for fine dining. We visited the place to try the new chefs tasting menu priced at 200 dhs per person. Amuse Bouche we had, miniature versions of Dahi puri, pani puri, bundi bonda and corn tart. Jam packed with flavors, these miniatures were the right start for the meal. Starters – The starters were Modernist chaat trolley, chicken cafareal, lamb chops with rosemary reduction and grilled potatoes. For the modernist chaat trolley, it was live prepared at our table, with the chef showing incredible talent for food presentation. The table was decorated with variety of sauces, topping it all with nitrogen frozen dhokla and yogurt. It was all mixed up and served, bursting with flavors. The best starter was the chicken cafreal. It is a goan inspired curry served on top of fried Japanese leaf. The mutton chop in rosemary reduction was well done, juicy and flavorful. The potatoes provided perfect accompaniment. For the drinks we had the very famous lava lamp with mango and passion fruit. It tasted divine. And the presentation has to applauded for this beautiful drink. We were then served with the palette cleanser. Beautifully presented lemon sorbet. For the mains, we had peas stuffed puris with bengali kosha mangsho and chicken curry. Tender, juicy, melt in the mouth meat with delectable curry savoured with peas stuffed puris was interesting meal. For dessert, we had the inspirational kulfi falooda and black forest 2.0 Inspirational kulfi falooda, which looks nothing like the normal falooda you’ve ever had. Here’s the rabdi is enclosed in a white chocolate egg, served on a bed of vermicelli and vanilla ice cream. A tap on the white chocolate egg breaks it releasing rabdi from inside. This was an beautifully presented dessert. Then finally comes the black forest 2.0 Made on a trolley, right on your table. Not only it looked creative and wonderful, it also tasted divine. Overall, tresind was a wonderful experience on itself. We truly devoured the food. The service, interiors and the ambience was in point. You should surely visit this place for a wonderful molecular gastronomy experience. Thank you tresind for having us
Best to go for the set menus – it’s cheaper and portions are more reasonable. Our bill was pretty high for 3 people, but we did end up choosing all the dishes that had theatrics to it. The best thing on the menu is the mushroom chai, one of the most comforting dishes I have ever had. The chaat trolley is OK, as is the black forest cake at the end. The best dishes are the understated ones. Would definitely go again
I have to say it is one of best Indian restaurant here in UAE. If you are in search of Indian food then you never go wrong with this place. They have new tasting menu for 200dhs and you can choose between Veg or Non veg. It’s very tasty and feels like you’re in India. Authentic and tasty Indian food, loved every bit of it, nice servings and taste, we were completely bold out. Their staff are very friendly and professional, they give answers for your all question. Highly recommended.
