Menu is quite vary, place is cozy for family with kids. They have an app that give promos so that is nice. However some of the staffs really need some serious training, might try one more time to go there but it no improvement I would rather spend my time dining in other place. Ps. The kids menu was shockingly plain, I ordered the “Superhero” (choice of fish and rice) and it came as a super dry white rice with just grilled white fish with no garnish to make it more attractive for kids, and a breakable cheap wooden cutlery sets.
This place is definitely not recommeded for food. I had ordered pizza and baby chicken roast. Just fancy names with no taste at all.The 3 stars is for the smoothies I ordered which they serve sugar free and of a sizable quantity. They have an outdoor seating also which gives you a glimpse of the sea.hope they improve on the food!
I like this place. Food is good. Been here a few times and the morning waitstaff is completely inattentive. But in the evenings the manager on staff is very good. Anything you need he will get for you and he makes sure you are satisfied and enjoy your experience. They have an app with specials that you can use in store.
This was a place that I had never stepped my foot into due to the pricey menu. This time though, we had an opportunity to get a discount on the total bill, so we came here. I would love to recommend this place to anyone to try out once in a while. Firstly, it’s the ambiance that gets you. It’s so calm and peaceful inside. It feels like home, with all the beautiful decor. They have very comfortable chairs; very antique pieces of furniture. For starters, they provided bread with butter, garlic butter, jam, honey and few other condiments. Those are good to build up your appetite. For the main food, we had a Tortilla Wrap and a Steak Sandwich, each costing Aed 56 and Aed 52 respectively. The Steak sandwich was just amazing. We had to wait a bit for the food, but it was extremely delicious and filling. Usually, the bread is not an attraction by itself, it’s only the meat inside that tastes good. But here, the bread, by itself was something delicious. Once we took a bite into the meaty sandwich, we couldn’t wait to finish it. The mushroom sauce, the steak, was all really good. After that we had the Tortilla Wrap. Now this is something which had an Indian masala taste to it. This too was very filling, but couldn’t match the taste of the steak sandwich. We had a slice of their Tiramisu cake for our sweet tooth. It wasn’t that great, just medium. I have heard they have excellent pastries, so maybe next time I will try some other cake. The staff also were quite nice. They didn’t feel extremely polished or fake, like some other places. They genuinely cared about our experience and helped us have a great experience.
The only reason for the 4 not the 5 was that the food took quite long to arrive at the table and if it were not for the complementary bread rolls we might have passed out. With that being said the decor is lovely and the restaurant has an upstairs and downstairs seating area. We ordered 2 portions of steak, a wholewheat pasta and an Alfredo pasta. All the food was delicious. The waiters were visible constantly and they did a good job. Shakespeare and Co can be on the pricy side when compared to other food places but I do find that it is worth it and money well spent.
Came here only once and tried their Pasta in White Sauce so I cant say much of their food overall. But I would say that the food I ordered I would rate it 3/5. Staff and service 4/5. Place and ambience 4/5.
