Good music, good drinks.. Decent crowd. Though the seating area was almost full me and my friends managed to grab a couple of chairs at the bar. It was ladies night the day we stayed there and we tried a variety of drinks. Red wine and monito were really good. Haven’t tried their finger food though.
Just a handful of bars in Fujairah. There are two bars in Novotel/Ibis Hotel, the other outlet on the ground floor was closed. Not so sure if i saw the board correctly it said ”Ladies Night” 8-11pm on a Friday ? We were 5 of us , we were sitting/waiting for couple of minutes, but no waiter came to attend to us. I went to the Bar to order the drinks, the staff at the counter told me to go back the table and wait, It took them really long for to take our order, and get our drinks.We ordered a pizza which was exactly what my hungry stomach was dying for. We ordered the Far east basket as well .The bar is in the centre, which i guess is usual, different types of seating arrangement around the bar. DJ is one corner. There was one pool table. We tried some of the cocktails,classic Marjarita – Kinda strong for me, flavour not so great Manhattan – okay very close to the drink description Singapore Sling – very fruity Mojito – like drinking a lemon cooler. Long Island Ice Tea – okay UPSIDE – Drinks are pretty cheap. Not too crowded. Well ventilated. There were some smokers on the next table and on ours but we smoke did not really bother. DOWNSIDE – Poor service. Cocktails of poor quality. To summarise not so sure whether we will comeback to this sports bar.
