  The best in RAK. Grand restaurant is my childhood favorite. Now that me and my family have shifted to India more than 7 years ago. But I still miss – beef chilly fry, kadai mutton, fish fry chips. Simply delicious!

  After long I have tried read tandoori chicken and other tandoori dishes in Ras Al Khaimah . Everything was just good but the point which I have to mention is waiter was so excited to give us bill and leave the table as we were eating without even asking we want to have dessert or tea / coffee he just got the bill on the table . It was not rude of customer is eating and service personal behave like this . Better I will get a delivery or parcel for next time visit as food is good . Food -4/5Ambiance -4/5Service -2/5

  “Any dish that needs an accompaniment, needs a good one!” We visited Grand restaurant in Al Nakheel, Ras Al Khaimah as a couple for dinner on a weekday. It serves Indian, Mughlai and Chinese food, both vegetarian and non-vegetarian. It is not diffcult to locate as it is situated on Al Muntasir road in Nakheel. It is suitable for informal family gatherings.Here is a review of the dishes that we tried:1. Chicken kabab platter: It was tasty, although not presented very well. The kababs were slightly warm and not as hot as one would like them to be. One disappointment was that it was served with mayonniase as an accompaniment. 2. Mutton biryani: It was hot and tasty and the mutton was soft and yummy. However, the raitha to go with it was simply beaten yoghurt with a greenish tinge, which looked like a chutney. When we asked for raitha, we were told that, that itself was the raitha! It did not taste like raitha though :(Complimentary bread, arabic bread, salad and pickle is served along with your choice of a la carte. The breads and salad were fresh.The ambience at the restaurant is fairly good and there is seating in cubicles for families. The staff that attended to us was friendly and obliging.   ‘Delicious food that is affordable too!’We visited Grand restaurant in Al Nakheel, Ras Al Khaimah for a family dinner on a weekday. The restaurant serves Indian, Mughlai and Chinese food and is suitable for vegetarians and non-vegetarians. The seating options are of the regular and cubicle type, so it is good for families as well.Here is a review of what we tasted:1. Chicken kababs: They were served hot and fresh and were tasty.2. Egg masala: This all-time favorite was yummy.3. Plain naans: The naans were soft and delicious – they were really huge and had to be shared.4. Mutton biryani: The mutton was tender and the biryani was delicious.5. Vegetable biryani: This was also very tasty.They serve complimentary salad, pickle and yoghurt with every meal. The food is affordable and the quantities are large.The staff is polite and the ambience is quite good.   Tried meals out is only .. sounds good .. but chapti is very hard needs improvement .. staff are good .. I think rak don’t have mangalorean dish .. so try to get this fast
