When in sharjah this is my place to go. Love the food from this restaurant. Order anything and it’s fantastic. Indo Chinese at its best. Unfortunately they have limited menu at this branch. And very small sitting space. It’s usually has waiting. Try them out. Love it.
The GrubShack Express is at a ideal location with ample parking available in front of the restaurant. Cozy interiors and neat place with friendly staff. The food we ordered Yuzu Lemon Mojito- Very Refreshing For the Starters We had Chutney Bomb- The filling was chutney and potato. Was very different and good Chicken Saucy Momos. Lately I have loved these momos with schezwan sauce which was brilliant. For the Mains We had Butter Chicken which was super creamy and delicious. The Star of the evening was the Goan Mango Curry which brought the authentic taste of coastal Fish curry served in My Home town. It was an amazing combination with rice. The food was great. Pricing was affordable and The Staff Mr. Rohan and Mr. PR were very attentive and made our experience very comfortable. I am definitely going back for the Fish curry and the Saucy Momos.
Grub Shack Express in Sharjah has reopened after a gap of two years. It is a small Indo-Chinese Restaurant behind Lulu Hypermarket on King Faisal Street with limited seating arrangements, I’d recommend take away or delivery. The menu is quite similar to what they offer at their Dubai Branch with the exception of few signature dishes. Items that I tried were all delicious, we tried Potato Chops, Chicken Lollipops, GS Double Decker (Chicken) & Fiery Piri Piri Tandoor Prawns. The service was quick and the server was pleasant. On Thursday evening, they were very busy on home deliveries, all the staff were occupied and continuously dispatching food which is a positive sign. Welcome back to Sharjah, Grub Shack. I will definitely visit again for more.
Grubshack Express is the younger brother of Grubshack located in Sharjah. In terms of food some of the flashy and signature items like Jack Frost etc are missing but Grun Shack Express retains the core dishes(like butter chicken) and still offers some amazing food for Sharjah residents. There isn’t too much seating and they focus primarily on deliveries. Most of the items we tried were good. These included the yuzu lemon and mint mojito(4/5), calamari twist(4/5), cheese chutney bomb(5/5), chicken lollipop(5/5), paneet tikka masala(5/5), chicken xacuti(3.5/5), biryani rice(3.5/5) and butter naan(4.5/5). In terms of our dine in experience, the staff were super helpful and recommended some really nice dishes and food was served on time as well..
Grub Shack Express: A small restaurant in the streets of Sharjah-Al Majaz serving Desi-Chines at its best.Price Range: AED 40-50 per personMust try: Saucy Momos, Dragon Bhel and Burnt Garlic NoodlesAmbience: Very small shop with very few seats, probably this is why they are called express (may be), but they have a bigger branch in Dubai-Oud Metha.Verdict: Every now and then foodierahgeer crave for some Desi-Chinese for which we make sure that we explore a new restaurant every time. Grub shack express is truly one the hidden gems of Sharjah when it comes to food and some of their signature dishes like Saucy Momos (Spicy) & Dragon bhel are just too good. We also tried their Burnt Garlic Noodles which were crazy delicious. Overall a wonderful experience with reasonable prices (great value for money).
