The mandi was simple. The rice was flavorful & could be eaten by itself. They served the rice with a spicy tomato sauce & curd. The sauce goes very well with the rice. I would say, it was a genuine yemen mandi with not too many flavours. The meat was coloured, succulent, juicy & rightly but simply flavoured. The kids could eat well because of the less spice.The ambience was pleasant, relaxing & comfy with choice of seating of on the floor or majlis arab style or on the table like at all mandi eateries. There wasnt any crowd, though a weekend. We enjoyed the whole food experience. On the downside, we werent offered any soup which is usually offered complementary to the dish.I would go there again for the food.Ate : July 2015
Ate 3 chicken mandi with my friends, it was so horrible. The taste of chicken and rice was very disappointing and the price is too high for every items. They charged 12 AED extra rice where other restaurants give it for free of cost.The average market rate for tasty chicken mandi is 15-17 AED, but here you have to pay 22.05 AED for tasteless chicken mandi. In other words you can’t call it a chicken mandi.
First of all inside was full, then we had to sit outside, which was great idea.Food was very tasty , we ordered 3 different dishes, all were good however Mansaf was GREAT !Service was very swift, and staff were very friendly Radwan & filipino lady .Prices is great in compare other place in other locations.Thank you and for sure will come back !
