We took out food from here last week. The order was simple – Beef and Chicken Shawarma. Expected to be as normal as every other Arabic shawarmas, if not exceptional. However, the food was a HUGE let down! The Shawarmas were terrible, especially the beef version. We always ask for garlic sauce with Shawarma. The garlic sauce from this restaurant was too sour and horrible. Had to throw away 2 boxes of those garlic sauces.
This is not 5 stars like a 5 star hotel. This is the king of late night street food. This is real food. The people who hate it want it to be what it isn’t. It doesn’t lie. It’s not pretty. It’s not Pumped with chemical moisteners like the oh so soft and tender swarama like food like thing found around Dubai. It’s Meat and fire. The generosity of the dishes is out of this world. There is always enough food. The eggplant is More than perfect.The fattoush beats every fancy fattoush. The laban needs to be bigger. (no liter size! what?) It tastes great though. Written after eating Multiple times- 0 issues with delivery or food quality. have tasted Much of the Menu.
