Went on a Friday evening with family for dinner.Parking in the area is an issue and this place can get crowded at peak dinner time. They have carpeted seating area for the traditional Afghani feel as well as table / chair arrangements. They do have family curtained areas too, but they are mostly occupied.Coming to the food.. we ordered 2 sets of Chupan Kebabs, half kg mutton Peshawari Karahi and one Afghani Pulao with Meat.Food was served after about 25 mins of ordering but it was well worth the wait.The Chupan Kebab which are lamp chops is an absolutely delight. Chewy, well flavored.. you can tear thru the meat.The Afghani pulao is another personal favorite. Depending on the meat type you choose to go with it.. you can’t go wrong with it.The Mutton Peshawari Karahi is another great dish with tangy tomato based gravy. The meat I must admit could have been a bit better though.All in all.. good food, served well in a traditional environment. Only issue: battling traffic to get there and then finding a spot to park.
Decent restaurant and very nice afghani kebabs with roti. I really liked this place and would recommend it. They serve complimentary soup too. There is a nice painting of Bashkashi too in the restaurant.
If you are craving for a nice Afghani food, this place is the best.Ordered Shami Kabab biryani last night as I was too tired to go out.The delivery was quick enough.It was served with 2 big shami kababs with biryani rice, salad, raita and hot soup.The kababs were big and tasty, the meat tasted delicious. As well as the biryani rice.The soup was tasty and the slaad was fresh.They use fresh meat everyday and it shows in the quality.I highly recommend this place, the dine in experience is great as well. Quality of food : 5/5 Value for money : 5/5
If you want are a meat lover and want to eat perfect BBQ and Afghani Pulao. this place is your destination. I am not exagerating. I have tried almost all variety of afhani Pulao there. and they never disappointed me.
Your search for authentic taste of Afghanistan food delicacies ends here. Have tried many Afghan restaurants and this one stands out because the food served here is very tasty and most importantly freshly prepared. If you are a meat lover then afghani seekh boti and chupan kebab are a must try. Since most of the items are barbeque ones it’s better to dine in rather than take away. A special mention for afghani naan Rating – 8/10
