Being an Indian.. tried this Srilankan cafe for the first time. Limited seating.. Good for takeaway. Liked their chicken curry.. prawns dry and also must try the snacks like Chicken roll, chicken samosa and Kottu roti.
Sri Lankan food it’s glory. Their pastries a d short eat items are good. Lunch a d dinner was once their pride which has not continued as it supposed to. But an affordable place with decent food.
Since I’m a Sri Lankan, I’m thankful there was a restaurant from my country in walking distance. This specific restaurant was heavily renovated which was a welcome change. I’ve tried almost all their dishes and I would recommend you to try the ‘Kottu’ which is very palatable. The protein, spices and vegetables all come together in perfect combination to produce this beauty. Then there’s the hoppers which is another great dish. It’s light, fluffy and very comforting when you’re done with the meal. Their curries are typical Sri Lankan dishes, spicy and delectable. On the weekends is rush hours and waiting times can take quite a while. The ambiance is fine but at time the place can get uncomfortably hot. The staff is friendly but I wish they were a bit more attentive to their customers. For the only Sri Lankan restaurant in Rolla, I say this isn’t half bad.Thank you for reading my review.
