went there for dinner with my wife for foil tandoori chicken but find out their manu has changed now not available becaouse of new managment .. end up ordering chickn handi .. tast and quantity was ok. but in the morning me n my wife had stomach upset 🙁
If you are looking Great food at very affordable price , then you must try Bab al rayan . This is a new restaurant and the food is excellent for Pakistani. I tried the foil chicken , Pakistani chicken gravy , seseme seed roti and biryani . The Foil tandoori chicken was Amazing !! The meat melted off the bone and its semi dry gravy was delicious with roti. The gravy was nice ,thick and NON greasy ,REALLY GOOD! And Biryani hit the mark ! Hogged Off and still had tonnes of food left over. The price is extremely reasonable . You Guys MUST try it . Its a hidden restaurant ! Great for guys timeout / Eat out or shall I Say HOGGOUT !
After reading reviews thought of trying from this restaurant, it’s located just 100 meters from my home.I ordered takeaway, Bombay chicken Briyani, chicken kadai and chicken sheekh kabab. It has taken more than 20 minutes to get the food.Honestly speaking I didn’t like their Briyani, as the chicken is smelly and the rice is too hard, also the sheekh is so hard and dry, in my life I haven’t eaten this kind of sheekh and will never only thing I like is their kadai as it taste good and different with other restaurants kadai.Surely I wanna try other varieties of BBQ items with other Briyani types and gravies too.In my next visit I’m gonna sure ask about the sheekh, why its so dry.
A true hidden gem. The variety of dishes is very good and at affordable prices. Bab Al Rayan restaurant has a perfect blend of Indian and Pakistani dishes which is quite rare. The restaurant is also providing monthly mess service for types of working staff.
Hmm what could I say about this place . The first thing that you notice is that its a unassuming place in one of sharjahs dusty by lanes as locations go not the best . With an ordinary looking place where nothing stands out to you . So far so boring but you could really think that I was pulling a fast one if I told you that I have had some of the best Pakistani food in the Uae here , Nihari , shami kebab bhuna tawa gosht , Chicken dabba masala and really nice Roti’s . The thing which really set it apart was the lack of oil and grease which helps you to truly enjoy the flavours . All in all a real hidden gem .
