The worst service ever, can’t find a waiter to order, a cup of tea took 15 min and an order came wrong twice and the manager who is egyption is extremely rude!
Just cheese cheese n more cheese. Nothing else. Lacks flavour. Gets you bloated afyer you eat cos its so much of cheese. Ordered a pepperoni pizza, Carbonara and French onion soup. Wverything was just cheese loaded. My last time here.
Went back to try their croissants but on arrival noticed 3 stale looking sorrowful croissants sitting on the display shelf. There was a very limited cold beverage selection on the menu out of which all of the mojitos were unavailable. The toffee cappachino was cold when we asked for hot. They promptly changed it to a hot cuppachino only to find that it was served with a straw in the same cold mason jar!! Then on our request they changed it again to a coffee cup. By this time our pizza was cold!!! What a disappointing experience !!! The raspberry mint ice tea was also unavailable due to lack of raspberries!!!!
Food: GoodAmbiance: CalmingService: Polite abd quickPricing: ReasonableLast winter I took an impulsive seat at this little cafe restaurant. Set against the gorgeous Qasba backdrop, it seemed like a good option given the beautiful weather. With a book in hand, i ordered a cappuccino and pasta. The coffee was well brewed. The pasta was tasty. The overall experience made me visit a second time and ordered a sandwich which came with a side of fries. The portions are generous for one person. The staff is friendly and available nearby. Its a great place for a coffee date, or if you want some writing done. I would like more options on the menu since the food options were quite standard. However, It became a winter regular for me to bring a book and enjoy the food.
Met up with an old friend here. We wanted to sit outside and did so at first, the server was quick to come to give us the menu and take our order but the weather wasn’t very pleasant nor was the seating arrangement so we switched to inside. The cafe was deserted at that time and remained so until we left about 2 hours later. The interiors are cozy and welcoming. We chose a table in the corner and ended up quite close to the preparation counter. We were also quite loud but the management did not complain even once. We initially just wanted drinks so we ordered these:1. Hot Chocolate: Very frothy, but again not very tasty,2. Xtreme Mocha: Good3. Watermelon Juice: Very refreshing!4. Molten Chocolate Cake: Pretty to see but not very tasty. Also, I prefer ice cream with it rather than the cream it was served with.We later ordered food because all the talking made us hungry:1. Chicken Mayo Sandwich: Decent. Good portion size.2. Chicken Shawarma: This was dry but the portion size was good. The location is easy to find and staff are alright. The quality of food however, can be improved.
Their molten chocolate cake and chocolate crepe are very disappointing in comparison to the main course. But had the Alfredo pasta and cappuccino for the first time from this place. Both the items were wonderful in taste as well as presentation. The staff is very friendly. The most impressive thing was that even though the outlet was crowded due to weekend, the service was quick.
Hubby and I visited the Al Khan Branch. We ordered Pepperoni Pizza and Penne Alfredo. Just 2 orders but we were stuffed. We liked the pepperoni and much more the alfredo (with few chicken slices). The staff were always outside (waiting for prospect diners) but they were helpful. The resto is perfectly situated in Al Qasba. A place often visited by Sharjah residents and tourists.
