Stopped here for a quick lunch before a meeting so I needed a meal that would be filling and not too complicated. Within minutes of my order, I was presented with a small tray of chicken mandi, a plate of chopped up vegetables, small bowl of tomato salsa and a medium bowl of vegetable soup. At first, the chicken looked dry but when you uncover that slightly roasted skin, you’ll find an incredibly juicy protein! The marination was disappointingly mild which is not what you’d expect judging by the red color of the chicken skin. The rice was spiced up with a mixture of flavors but I would suspect they threw in a couple of maggi vegetable stock cubes in there for flavor! Overall, it’s what I expected from a mandi place and for just AED18, you can’t complain!

It was ok ok.. chicken was overcooked n hard.. rice n tomato sauce were average too.. so it was just an average experience mylifeconversations.wordpress.com
