Recently visited this new restaurant serving Kerala style dishes. They are located in one of the busiest places in Sharjah. They’ve got a huge seating arrangement with a G+1 setup. Their menu is versatile with a lot of options. Our server for the night was Robin and he made sure we had a great dining experience.About the food:For starters, we got1. Chicken 65: Fried well. Good marination without being very overpowering in flavor. Totally enjoyable.2. Chicken lollipop: Great Textute. Had a great crisp to it. I really enjoyed the coating they had.3. Dragon chicken: The flavor was great, savory and a bit sweet from the peppers. The whole dish had a great balance of the peppers, chicken and the marination.4. Prawn crispy: A plate of mini fried delights. I enjoyed this dish quite a lot here. They serve small sized prawns without shells. Something the kids would really enjoy. For the mains, we got:1. Mutton roast: A total south Indian delight. Best enjoyed with their traditional Porotta. The meat was super tender. Great pepper based flavor.2. Prawn roast: We totally loved the prawn roast. Comes with a with of gravy. Highly recommend it!3. Chili chicken: This Chinese based dish actually tasted a lot better than my expectations. The chicken was super moist and the whole dish was very subtle on the stomach.4. Bamboo biryani: This was my first time trying it. I really loved the ghee aroma and flavor from the rice. Super moist mutton. Just that the green peas overpowered the dish a bit. Or else, it was just right. For drinks, I tried their:1. watermelon juice: Had a very good consistency.2. Chocolate milkshake: The usual chocolate milkshake.3. And also tried one of their traditional drink. Don’t exactly remember the name. I felt it was more of an acquired taste to enjoy it best.Overall, a great experience with great hospitality. Very budget friendly with great portion. Definitely a place to give a shot at.
the location of this restaurant is in one of the busiest areas of Sharjah. It has the true flavors os Malabar in it and hands down one of the best south Indian restaurants I have had the opportunity to try out. Our server for the night was Robin and he made sure that the food kept coming to our table and took care of all our needs. First, they welcomed us to the restaurant with a welcome drink made out of mint. For starters, we had ordered the Chicken 65, Chicken lollipop, Dragon chicken, prawn crispy and hot and sour chicken soupthe Chicken 65 was prepared the south Indian way. The chicken lollipop was crispy and fresh and best eaten with the Schzwan sauce present with it. The dragon chicken was my favorite among all the starters that were served to us. The prawn crispy was also very good in taste it had a slight spiciness to it which made it better. when served to us it wasn’t that oily another thing that needs to be noted. All the starters served to us was hot and fresh. The hot and sour chicken soup was good and had a good portionFor the main course, we had ordered the mutton roast, prawn roast, chili chicken and bamboo biryaniThe mutton roast, in my opinion, was made in a very authentic way. The way it is made back in Kerelaand best eaten with porotta. The prawn roast and the chili chicken was both were amazing in my opinions and is a must ordered they had a vibrant taste to it and was made in a indo Chinese style and I loved them. The bamboo biryani was a new concept to me and its one of their specialties and a specialty back in Kerela. Absolutely loved the way it was presented to us and enjoyed it alot. For drinks, we had Orange juice, watermelon juice, Chocolate milkshake, Strawberry milkshake all of them was amazing and refreshing.Overall had a lovely time at this restaurant and the food isn’t that expensive and its a restaurant for those who enjoy authentic south Indian food as well as indo Chinese food.
