Ordered the make ur own combo with Butter chicken,Panner curry, Chicken curry, chicken kebab and dum rice with Gulab Jamun for AED 15 on zomato promo. Everything was very good and tasty
Very average food from such a great chef. I had alot of expectations from this place. I thought they would have Authentic Indian food. Vibrant interiors nicely made. Great staff but the main food lacked taste. Bland food. Nothing tasted Indian. I did complain the manager took a positive feedback. Need to work hard on the food. Nothing exciting.
We ordered kadai prawns , fish biryani, butter tandoori roti and Masala chai. The kadai prawns and fish biryani tasted good but the butter roti was pretty small and texture was hard and the masala chai flavour was dominated by cardamom and cinnamon too strong. The decor was green , golden and off white very relaxing and staff were friendly too.
Not going here again as 2 out 3 dishes ordered were way below par.Their Angara lal mirch chicken tikka is just okay as I felt that the meat wasn’t cooked through, the butter chicken is so sweet that it should be renamed to something else and garlic naan alone cannot be the sole redemption in a place run by a famous chef.Service is commendable. One star for the decent ambience and another for service plus garlic naan. They certainly can do better and should do better !!!
We home ordered from here. Its a bit costly. Food was good. Fish curry and cheese tomato naan we liked. Chicken starter was not that great. They told in description that its flavoured with cheese and lemon butter but we didn’t feel it had cheese. It was like a usual chicken starter with a marinade or yogurt. And rotis/breads were smaller in size than usually what we see almost everywhere. Overall its good.
Visited this restaurant for the first time. Hearing sanjeev kapoors name we went to dine in. Amazing place , beautiful ambiance and friendly staff. They can re arrange the price list if possible.Food was tasty & parking is also not a issue in this area. Recommended for families.Hope to visit this restaurant again.
While I’ve been to the Burjuman branch of The Yellow Chili, this was my first time to the Al Qasba branch. First of all, kudos for opening an Indian restaurant at Al Qasba! This was required to attract the Indian crowd who otherwise had no options here.I went with a couple of friends for lunch on a Thursday, but there wasn’t a soul. I don’t know if it’s always like this, but my immediate thought was, “Will the food be fresh?” However, my fears were laid to rest with the delicious food that came next.We ordered the Hare masaley ka bhuna paneer as our starter since there were more vegetarians. I didn’t love this one.For our mains, we ordered the Aloo Banarasi with Garlic naan and Mint Lacha paratha. These were all good. The garlic on the naan was powerful! I loved the aloo banarasi! For dessert, we went with the Baked yoghurt as I had loved this on our previous visit. Overall, great ambience and wonderful location, especially for the evenings!
