  Food is ok, it was definitely better when the last owners ran this place.Concept is good and much healthier than the other crap being served at other local chicken burgers restaurants.

  The service is the most adorable thing here- besides the food.Almost all the numerous times i have been here, i have always had their signature Jerk Chicken, where tender pieces of chicken areshreddedand bounced in their spicy mixture (be careful here – too much spicy is really too much). come with a nan and salad and chips. Nom Nom.I would have my visa renewed just to come visit them again.Not high on the space factor, if there is rush, you might not get a place to sit. but who cares with that delectable spread.

  Without a doubt the worse eat in or take away ANYWHERE I was feeling hungry and after skipping breakfast and lunch I was so hungry I could eat a horse. My business partner and I decided we would risk it all and take a gamble on The Charcoal Chicken which is located at 1158 Stratford Rd, Hall Green, Birmingham From the exterior of the building to the inside it was filthy, but we were so hungry that emotion beat logic and my business partner and I wondered in. Im not joking, if there were any mice in this place they would have been wearing overalls. Needless to say we decided to eat, after all any food is better than none when you are famished right? The man who took our order could hardly speak the Queens English, however after playing Charades for 2 minutes he got the message one piece of chicken with fries and a drink times two. The bill came to a reasonably priced 4.98 he took the five pound note off me and placed it in the cash register, without giving me my change back. I didnt bother to ask him for my change I decided that they needed the money more than me. We sat down and as I glazed around the establishment I started to have second thoughts about entering into these premises. The food arrived and as my business partner stared at his plate a spider crawled out from the salad. He stood up and took the plate over to the man and said I would like you to change this please, whats wrong said the man Well I cant remember ordering a spider with my lunch. Just then the manager came over. He was an overweight man who look quite angry – whats the problem My business partner pointed to the eight legged spider and said thats the problem the reply What do you except for 4.95 and then walked off.I followed the manager into the kitchen and said Do you mean if I paid 24 I would have got a better quality spider like a black widow or tarantula? he looked at me bewildered. I then told him where he could stick his chicken and walked off. My Review stay away 0/10
