This is a honest review and I haven’t been asked by the owners to complete one like the previous reviewer. The food layout and concept is the same as Jimmy Spices, but not as good. I was surprised the entrance to the restaurant is through the attached pub. Not what I was expecting. Also the toilets are shared with the pub!!! Yak.Anyway food range is ok, and deserts aren’t that amazing. The service from waitresses was OK as well. The kids loved it here but I honestly don’t think was that great. 15 a head is quite expensive.
Too good to miss. The standard and choice of food available at this pan-Asian live buffet is the best I have found in the MidlandsA truly splendid salad bar is where we usually start, with a few popadums and pickles, samosas, crab claws, pakoras chicken wings…….. with every imaginable sauce pickle condiment spread out to try.. the list goes on and on. A huge selection of main dishes await, with all of the accompanying rices, daal etc on the hot table, or the chefs manning the kitchen area in the centre will cook you a curry to order, fresh kebabs and chicken tikka, and perfect fresh naan from the tandoor. Or you could select the raw ingredients for a chef to stir fry in a wok, or try the dhosas ( filled rice pancakes) cooked while you wait. Chinese dishes Pizzas and European dishes are also available but we have never managed to get that far through the choices. The deserts are varied and fresh with a choc fountain for the kids and an icecream machine. It would be impossible to visit this restaurant and not find something to enjoy from pizza and chips upwards. We have been using this restaurant monthly for several years ( the name changed to Peachy Keens quite recently but kept the same manager staff chefs and quality food ) and have NEVER been disappointed The lunchtime food is as good and cheap too.
