Just come back from eating here and had to leave a review right away – absolutely loved it. Shared several mezze plates and a shwarma between three people, and every single thing was delicious. I’ve lived around the corner from this for a year now and didn’t realise it was there – am so annoyed! Lebanese is my favourite food and this is some of the nicest I’ve had. Great selection of starters especially, and I love that they do foul for breakfast. Can’t wait to go back, and take my half-Lebanese Dad!The service might take a little time sometimes, but that’s only because they are small team – you can tell they are working hard, and we didn’t wait too long – and it was definitely worth it.

Easily the best Lebanese restaurant I’ve been to, outside of Beirut. The staff are always welcoming and accommodating – sometimes when they get busy, they let us know they’ll be a little longer, but they’re always very transparent. They’re only a small team, and they work incredibly hard.I find there are a lot of vegetarian options to choose from – The tabbouleh is fresh and zesty – my all-time favourite is the Pumpkin kibbeh when they have it.The portions are fantastic – I usually have to ask for a takeaway box if I do get a starter. I recommend the vegetarian Moussaka and rice. The Leban batenjan was also extremely good – but enormously rich, so I would share, or take some home 9 times out of 10.I hear good things about their lamb, I don’t eat it – but it is meant to be cooked extremely well.If you do go out for a meal, finishing with a Lebanese coffee and some of their rosewater cake is incredible.

Came here with my wife a few months ago and found the service appalling. Our orders weren’t taken for at least 45 mins despite my wife and I on numerous occasions telling the waitress we were ready to order and pushed for time. After around 1 hour only ONE of us received our starter. At this point I asked the waitress if it was possible to cancel the main as we were really pushed for time. 2 mins later the manager stormed down the stairs highly animated, raising his voice telling me the food will come when it’s ready etc and to relax. Despite me remaining calm and never raising my voice/swearing. It’s a small intimate place which was why I asked discreetly, but it seems the manager wasn’t aware of that and continued to belittle me infront of other customers. Needless to say he refused to cancel the mains order and continued to argue about my time keeping. There was NO apology for having kept us waiting. So we asked for the mains to be taken away and were forced to wait for them. 20mins later they arrived….on plates! It seemed they were just trying our patience now, but again we calmly asked for them to be put in boxes so we can take them away. So had to wait another 5 mins for them to be put in the box. We were happy to leave it there, he was probably having a bad day etc, but as we were walking out the door the manager decided to have another pop at me in front of customers, this was the last straw for me, as up till now I had been polite and discreet so I played him at his own game and raised my own voice and caused a scene, it felt good. Though i think he had the last laugh as you’ll see….As for the food….the take away was a chicken dish, the chicken was dry and tasteless, but still gave me an upset stomach. So I lost the battle, one I never wanted to be part of. Despite the fact we both love Lebanese food and live a 4 min walk from the restaurant neither of us will be dining here again even if you dared us!
