Small Portions. I ordered a Green Curry and plain rice. It tastes great, although a bit too spicy. The only issue i had was that, for the money the curry size was very small. It was half the contents of the container and had very little meat in it.

Expensive for Acton. Been there once. The price is about 8-10 per dish. That might not be expensive in central London but for Acton it certainly is. OK some people gonna say you get what you pay for. In this case, you don’t. The portion of the food is very very small. It simply pathetic. Not happy at all.

Lovely pinto. I live in Acton and am a regular customer @ pinto thai kitchen . I was here last week and the atmosphere was so friendly with smiley waitressand thai songs. As far as I know duck satay and lamb satay dishes are not on Pinto’s menu.I believe that should be different pinto not in acton.06 Apr, 2010Pinto thai kitchen acton. A lovely small local thai restaurant offers a real thai taste . I love going there because the atmosphere is really friendly. You won’t feel akward to ask staff if you don’t even know how to order food especially when you want to try their new specialities. They are more of help. I have tried their hot pot and thai iced tea. That was absolutely delicious.

Pinto not so good. I ate in the Pinto thai a cuple of weeks ago as a special treat dinner with my boyfriend. We would normally go to a place in Dorking, but couldn’t bothered to drive over there. Ok, so basically, Pinto was a huge let-down. The restaurant is kitted out with a very modern design and they don’t even play eastern sounding music; it feels phony. The main concern on the occasion I went was that they got the order wrong. We order a satay duck and a satay lamb. Two ducks came. I told them after eating about a third of it and they apologised and hurried away, returning 15 minutes later with the lamb dish. obviously we’d eaten both dishes by then so they boxed up the lamb dish and i had it for lunch the next day. In all cases, the food was very nice. Our starters were lovely too.Main problems 1) over-priced 2) service, the waiter clearly didn’t listen to our order and we only orderd 5 dishes. 3) they didn’t tell me that they were going to get a replacement dish, just ran off and appeared some time later. These are simple things and maybe have something to do with language difference.Over-all, I can’t tel lyou specifically why, but i wouldn’t go back their. Sang Thai is Dorking is far superior.

Pinto is a lovely, cosy and friendly thai with some fantastic traditional dishes amongst their menu. Always happy and good portions – not too big or small, plus the byo is always a perk for a mid week outing.
