This is an awesome place to have a couple drinks. The place itself is huge with different kinds of seating arrangements (Open air, tent etc). The collection of in house drinks are great. Not just the taste, the drinks are super affordable. You could catch up on a game of table tennis between your drinks too. This was a nice one.

Where: The Aeronaut, Acton. When: Sunday Lunch (3 Courses)We ate: Salmon fish cakes, Pulled pork croquettes, Roast pork with trimmings, Roast beef with trimmings, Rice pudding, Toffee and banana puddingWe drank: Virgin Mary, 3 1/3 pints (Stinger, Porter, Winter)Highlights: The crunchy pickles and smooth dill sauce with the salmon fish cakes helped to cut through the richness of the cake, and had a great texture. The BBQ sauce with the pulled pork croquettes was also lovely. Both the pork belly and beef were roasted perfectly. The crackling on the pork was lovely and crisp, whilst the beef had a smooth, delicious flavour. The roast potatoes were exemplary and the carrot mash a revelation! The rice pudding with mango was absolutely gorgeous. I’ve never even rice pudding before and I am in love now!Lowlights: The fishcakes were mostly potato and only a little bit of salmon which was disappointing. The chilli in the kimchee that was served alongside the pulled pork croquettes could have been much punchier. Overall:If you live out West then the Aeronaut makes a brilliant cosy pub for Sunday lunch. There’s plenty of entertainment for kids and even a circus! The roast dinner is worth heading there for. theyoungdomesticgoddess.blogspot.com
