Top quality food !. Lovely refurnished smart gastro pub in the heart of Hertfordshire. It has separate sections for bar and restaurant. I was tempted to order a main course after watching all food coming out of the kitchen and it turned out to be a great choice. My plaice fillet stuffed with salmon, ricotta and asparagus on a bed of truffle & sultanas mashed potatoes was simply a different gear, the rump of lamb with potatoes, baby onions, pancetta and red wine juice was also very rich and tasty. Recommended!
