Liars and thieves! Ordered takeaway for two people, but one of the mains was missing. Hiccups happen. When we first called, they promised to send another driver with the food. When we called again 45 minutes later, they said the driver was on the way and promised a refund of the missing item. When we called again 1hr 15 minutes later, another person answered and knew of nothing. There was no driver on the way! He promised to find out what happened and to call us back, but that never happened. They still owe us money for food that was never delivered! Avoid!!!!

Service at the ting tong thai. I have now visited the Ting Tong Thai for the second time and found the service very slow. Unsmiling waiter who walked away half way through our drinks order then had to return to check it, slow delivery of chili crackers with our drinks. We arrived around 8.30pm and were still waiting for the starter at 9.10pm. Service was also slow on our first visit shortly after they had opened and we thought that the food was worth the wait but now find the long wait for food and inattentive staff a combination that has helped us decide never to return.Eva
Friendly efficient staff but if you loved the authentic food served here when it was Thai Nice you could be very disappointed. I was. The food is bland and pretty flavourless. I doubt if there is a thai chef in the kitchen as the food was more like a Chinese version of Thai food – the pad thai was just a pile of soggy sweet noodles and the chicken was dry and clearly cooked separately and then thrown into the soggy noodles. Nice bright clean place and nice friendly staff. Wouldn’t eat here again.
This is nice and the price is reasonable. There were 2 of us + a 3 year old. We ordered the Thai fish cake (no 7 on the menu) for appetizer, seafood curry, stir fry beef, fried noodles and steamed rice. The bill came up to 30, including drinks (but we didn’t order any wine).
