Best Indian Restaurant in Liverpool. I stayed near roselane in Liverpool and used to frequently visit this place. I did try other indian restaurants in Liverpool and London. My final verdict – Zaaffran comes out the best by a long margin. The neighbouring restaurants Cafe Sikander, Millon Tandoori etc have really bland and oily food. Zaaffran captures the indian taste and cuisine perfectly. Other Indian restaurants like Raj and Gulshan were really really poor. Also, since the staff at Zaaffran are indian too, their knowledge and service is extremely good. My favourite dishes were dal tadka, chana chat puri, aloo jeera and kadhai paneer. The chutneys they serve with poppadoms were awesome too. Overall, my favourite restaurant in Liverpool.
