We had a very pleasant walk in the park. Sat and watched the cricket. Exercised the dog and then strolled to the hub. Ice creams, lattes, water & more. Water for the dogs. Lovely friendly staff. Seats, shade loos. What more could you want. Fab.
Massive park great for walks (and dog friendly). Diverse wildlife incl bat walks, badgers and the usual squirrels birds and deer. History of Henry 8th Castle, WW1 and WW2 military history etc. Lovely kids play park. Hub cafe friendly, had nice jacket potato, fast service.
Nice cup of tea and decent bacon butty but the guy in charge is rude. I have been here a few times and he has managed to be grumpy every time. Certainly shouldn’t be dealing with customers.
