Used to dine here a lot with my partner but the last time we visited on a Sunday the staff were asleep. My starter was wrong and when I asked for the proper dish I got a salad with hard pizza cheese instead of mozzerella. They should have told me that they had sold out of proper cheese or sent a kp to tesco!!!! The pizzas for our mains did not have much care and attention given to them and we had to ask for more drinks. Very sleepy Sunday and we havnt been since.
Very disappointing and hungry. I know this place is always busy, so am not expecting many to agree with this review, but here goes.I have never left a restaurant hungry but that’s what happened here. I have a dairy intolerance, but this could only be dealt with by me having no dressing on my salad. A place that can’t rustle up some oil and vinegar should not be allowed be to be called a restaurant. The bruschetta had a similar story, I had to eat bread with some tasteless tomatoes. Hubby was disappointed with his pizza. I’m only 7.5stone and I was still hungry, so had to order more of the bruschetta. Very poor, I’ll stick to Olive Press which has chefs that can cook, ingredients that have flavour and food that is filling. All I can think is that those Tesco vouchers must be popular.
