Our small, family run business is set in an original 15th Century Almshouse which is full of character and atmosphere. It is a relaxing place to enjoy everything from a simple cuppa to lunch, afternoon tea or our award winning Cream Teas. During fair weather our secluded courtyard garden is a must see and now with seating available in The Square it is a wonderful spot to watch the world go by. The small town of Axbridge is found at the foot of The Mendip Hills at the edge of the Somerset Levels. It is just two miles from the much better known village of Cheddar with it's famous Gorge, cheese and caves. Axbridge is particularly popular with walkers & cyclists as The Strawberry Line runs through it's Medieval Square and we are dog and child friendly. We hope to see you soon.
