We went here for a bottomless Saturday brunch – and had a great time! Staff were friendly and liberal with the bottomless prosecco – even if it was possibly overpriced at 20 per person for 1.5 hours. The food was good – nothing extraordinary but tasty and a standard brunch menu. Good location close to the station so makes a great meeting spot for a group!
after a rough day. Sometimes an impromptu pint is needed. The music and atmosphere is completely bang on for a place like this. The staff are friendly and efficient. I will definitely be checking out the cinema + their bottomless brunch.
We were coming back from movie and we decided to go to Exhibit which was a very good decision. My mom just loved this lace. And always talk about its burgers. So we ordered the burgers that she suggested and some other things. The food was really good. I had the chilli burger and it had an excellent kick to it, and the cheesy fries were yum! Service in the restaurant was great. I just cant forget the taste of burger. It was one of the best burgers I have ever tried.
The VibeBalham isnt exactly traditional date territory. Its far out, deeply uncool and could be better looking. Entering The Exhibit with mixed expectations, you may find yourself subconsciously reaching for your taxi app as you wait for your date, wondering if this was a bit of a punchy shout. Bear with me.The Exhibit is a bar-meets-diner-meets-cinema venue, the sort of artsy place where the staff stay for years (its the character of the place) and regulars know the deal days by heart. For a date night, bypass the ground floor bar completely and head straight up to the convincing 50s diner. Its vintage jukebox, low partitioned booths and burger n shake dominated menu makes you feel like youve just pulled off for a pit stop before getting back on the road to Vegas. Kinda charming, kinda meta-grim. The faded photos of New Mexico and the red and yellow squeezy bottles of sauce reinforce this, alongside a very mixed crowd. Heading one floor up after the meal, youll find a DREAMY tiny cinema room made up of 12 two-man sofas, with red pillows and side tables for booze. This is where it gets cute (or handsy) and the romance goes up a notch. The OrderIts diner food, with creamy shakes and juicy burgers that are easily as good as any hipster pop-up. Take note: the chicken burger is minced and delicious easier to eat and soaks up sauces a treat. Also on Tuesdays and Wednesdays its cheap as chips cinema tickets, burgers, fries and a shake for 15.90.The GameThis is the sort of date you take someone 4-6 weeks into a relationship. Youve had the exclusivity chat and are now treading the habit-forming terrain of mid-week dates. Its either Orange Wednesdays and a trip to the Hagaan Daaz store, or this. There are two main reasons you should give this place a go. One: To share a juicy burger n shake with the person youre crushing on is a vital step in getting to know them. Its messy, awkward and slightly juvenile a nice break from the relentless charm offensive and glitzy bars. Two: When you dont have the energy to talk for hours over gallons of wine, this date is perfect for an hour of catching up in the diner, followed by 3 hours of light petting in the cinema. The perfect mind/body ratio for a Wednesday. The FaultsThe ground floor bar is a turn off, head straight upstairs.Sex Factor1. Its real cutesy but the cinema is too intimate to be that badly behaved in. socialconcierge.co.uk
Dinner and movie for 15 pounds! Bargain, nice diner and good menu. Staff are seemed all really sound and nice. The cinema itself is a gem! Big comfy couches and only room for 30 odd people AND NO (!) trailers!Nice big bar downstairs too for a post pictures drink. So close to the tube as well no need to panic over last train home either.
Recently visited The Exhibit with some friends, menu choice is ok however our food arrived warm rather than piping hot as id expect. The service was quite slow and not as friendly as id have wanted it to be. I left wanting more from this place, cant say id recommend it, and don’t see myself hurrying back.
The Exhibit is excellent! We decided to check it out last weekend on a late saturday afternoon and as a spice lover I ordered the spiciest chicken wings and it didn’t disappoint. The burgers here are good too. The only drawback (quite minor) is that they serve the burgers in a little basket and its quite difficult to eat out of it as it moves a bit.We returned the next day for a sunday brunch and enjoyed it and now we are planning to go for brunch again. The Exhibit might become our go-to place.
