Truly Awful!. Tiny, cramped restaurant, with shabby decor from the 70’s (and not in an amusing kitsch way!). The food is truly awful right across the menu. With stale greasy popadoms, tasteless, cardboard nan, onion bhaji’s like deep-fried canonballs, and slimy vegetable mush. The main dishes are just tough nuggets of meat stewed in the same ropey base sauce – just add 1-5 spoons of chilli powder to get from bhuna to vindaloo. Banstead is cursed with overpriced restaurants serving dreadful food – and this is one of the worst.
