‘Bites’ CLOSED and was replaced by ‘quirky teas’ which was subsequently replaced by a pasty shop ‘Barbica Bakehouse – Simply Cornish’ part of a bigger bakery chain.
Bites to Go never really made a go of moving into Prete’s old ice cream shop and cafe. Now the very successful Valentis ice cream business just across the Ope are moving in to expand with a coffee bar.

We found this gem of a cafe whilst wandering through the Barbican looking for a place for lunch. It does a lovely, scrummy selection of sandwiches, paninis and salads and tasty cakes. A great place for a light bite.
Pop in here on the odd occasion as the brownies are simply amazing! The staff are always very friendly and helpful and I am served within a matter of minutes. Good location and the cafe is always kept clean and tidy.
