About

You have already listed a number of the pub/bar cafes in the historic Barbican area of Plymouth. The Navy is one of the busiest and talked about. It is at a fork I'm two of the oldest and most attractive of the historic streets. It is probably mid Victorian.it features in the oldest photographs of the old fish quay area. It operates on two levels the first floor a large dining area with great views across the harbour and Marina area with a healthy big menu pub selection. Downstairs is a rambling bar with some big screens for footy and other events but a bustling counter area and tables for food. Some nights of the weekends the ground floor is used for popular Ar love bands but the food carries on above. This is a good value place to eat and probably one of the most popular food pubs around. Easilyjustifies and entry not least because a lot of the other eating places already listed close by are not nearly such good value or fun.
