This pub has been recently refurbished and has a nice vibe. We went here for lunch on a December afternoon so they had their Christmas menu to offer. I had the smoked salmon for starter which came with brown bread and radish and carrot salad. I enjoyed it very much, it was very light and refreshing. For the mains I had a very christmasy turkey roast with traditional trimmings and thoroughly enjoyed it. The sauce was beautiful, veggies were well seasoned, although I struggled to finish as it was a big portion. The dessert was the most disappointing. I had ordered crme brul and it was the worst version of it ever. The food is average in this pub, but I would definitely visit and recommend for drinks. Lovely ambience, wide range of drinks and huge seating spaces.
