Think of a place within arms of reach of the bustling city of Cambridge and yet distant to offer a tranquil and enjoyable time either before or after you visit all of the attractions the county has to offer and then you will have to consider us! We like to stay traditional and keep the feel of a homely lovely pub with lots of charm and flair with genuine care to provide great food and service.All we cook we do it with love combining traditional pub food along with a contemporary diverse mix of continental flavours constantly challenging the minds of our diners on what to choose. We cook from fish and chips to a wonderful way of introducing an octopus salad or a meat mixed grill against one of our signature dishes the beef espetada or even a burger seasoned and made to our own recipeoh and the Nata Custard Pie with cinnamon and ice cream! No words to explain other to indulge and try it! But the vindication is in the end left to your appetence and palate when you visit us.Details

Went for Sunday lunch – four of us having visited the pub before. The Sunday roast was one of worst we had ever had from a restaurant. We refused to pay and only paid for drinks. The pub itself had no atmosphere.
Visited on a weeknight with friends – had lovely “nibbles” platter to start followed by Portuguese steak, bacalhau (cod), espetadas(chicken or beef skewers). All were delicious! Other more traditional pub food is also available. We will certainly visit again!

We needed to get lunch on a trip across country and chose this place. It may not look too inviting but we had a fantastic meal that was better than we had expected. Salade Nicoise was served with tuna cooked to order and was lovely.
