Really didn’t enjoy my experience here i must say, lack of food choices especially for children whom may not like the tough meet here. Food was very dry must have a drink while eating otherwise you may choke! It needs a really good clean and the staff members too who are not too friendly and swear here and there in front of the children. Full of older men drinking and also many bikers who are very intimidating as you walk through the door with them all looking at you. But it’s very cheap here!

Steve Ager. I think that the Darby Digger is the Best Value & the best dinner your get in Essex, never had a problem , been going every other week for a year, have all your food & a drink and it won’t break the bank.
Had a carvery meal at the Darby Digger and I didn’t enjoy it. I wouldn’t go back again. The ambience was nice though and the staff were friendly. There was really slow service when ordering hot drinks after the carvery meal. Was very disappointed and I won’t go again
