Not to mention that the manager was drunk, on shift, and hurling abuse at staff and customers. The biggest shock? There aren’t more reviews online sharing this experience. I guess if you intimidate customers enough they won’t write about you online.Shocking behaviour, I’ll never be going again. If you like being called derogatory terms like **** and **** this is your place. Disgrace.
Have just experienced the worst customer service of my life. Not only were we overcharged double by the staff for our order, but when bought to her attention, the woman behind the till (who was already swearing and acting drunk) was rude to us at the top of her voice. We spent at least 15 minutes trying to reason with the increasingly rude member of staff. Ultimately, she begrudgingly accepted she was in the wrong, but did make sure to tell us never to come again. I can confirm that I’ll never be coming to the woodman again and wouldn’t recommend you do either unless you enjoy being treated like scum.

We visited The Woodman last weekend and had a fantastic time! We both had the burgers, which were delicious, though a little more overdone than we had asked for. A really great pub that feels like it’s straight out of the country – we’ll definitely be back! thelifestylediaries.com
It is a awful place to visit food well over priced for what you get & very poor quality at that, wine was awful & found staff to be extremely rude
Great village feel pub, a slice of the country in London. Food is excellent, huge portion sizes and fantastic value. Burger and steak nights midweek. Good range of ales, lagers and wines by the glass. Mixed, eclectic crowd. Sunday lunch busiest. Lovely garden.
